Contemporary Cartography is a platform by TAG Fine Arts, focusing on artists, exhibitions, and projects that explore the possibilities of modern cartography.

Inspired by a gift of ‘The Map as Art'(2009), a book by Katharine A. Harmon, TAG’s 2011 exhibition ‘The Art of Mapping’ was formed, featuring a range of cartographic artists including Grayson Perry, Stephen Walter, and Paula Scher.

This platform is a continuation of the exploration into modern cartographic methods, spotlighting different artists’ approaches to mapping in their practices.
